Meet the E-Board for the 2007-2008 school year



PRESIDENT


GEORGE GARY III



George T. Gary III is a sophomore, Public Relations major, Fashion Merchandising minor from Chicago IL. George has been involved with Target H.O.P.E. for over 3 years and is extremely passionate and committed to both the Howard Chapter and the high school component. George serves as this years President. George is very outgoing, currently interns at Jam Sports and Entertainment and participates in various campus organizations which include: Office Assistant for the Howard University Student Association (H.U.S.A.), Drew Hall Step team coach, and members of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and Chicago People’s Union. Target H.O.P.E. is an organization that has helped shaped his Howard experience, and is filled with students that serve as a support system for all of its members and the surrounding community. Ultimately George wants to obtain a career in entertainment Consulting and Brand Imaging.

CHARLES BEAVERS


Charles Eric Beavers II is a sophomore Political Science Major from Chicago, IL. Upon completion of hisundergraduate degree, he plans to attend Law School and eventually enter the political arena of Chicago. He has been a dedicated member of Target HOPE since his sophomore year of high school.




TREASURER
CRAIG ALLEN


Craig Allen is a senior English major, French minor from St. Louis, Missouri. He has been a faithful member of Target HOPE since 2005. This is his first year as an eboard member and he finds it has been an enjoyable experience. He also serves as the PR director for Sigma Tau Delta, the Historian for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Beta Chapter, and the Vice-President of the Howard University Chapter of the Red Cross. After Craig graduates he plans on attending law school and becoming an attorney.


HISTORIAN

JANIECE WILLIAMS


Janiece Williams is currently a 3rd year Architecture Major from Houston, Texas. She has been a dedicated member of Target HOPE since her sophomore year at Howard University, and this is her first year serving on the executive board. She also serves on the executive board for the Howard University Texas Club as the corresponding secretary. Upon graduation, she plans to concentrate her career in urban design and planning.

LUMNWI NGWA-SUH


Lumnwi Ngwa-Suh is a junior International Business major from Columbia, Maryland. In addition to being the 2007-2008 Programs Director of Target HOPE, HU Chapter, she has been the Historian for two years running of the DC-MD-VA Club. She is also an active member of the International Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi, the School of Business Executive Leadership Honors Program, NSCS, and Golden Key. Lumnwi has a passion for joining dedicated groups of her peers in making Howard University and the surrounding neighborhood a better place.

Naima Blakes is a sophmore biology major from Dallas, Texas. Upon graduating from Howard she plans on going to medical school to become a pediatrician. Her favorite part of being a member of Target H.O.P.E. is working with the Saturday Program kids because she realizes that she and other members of Target H.O.P.E. have the oppotunity to be a positive influence in their lives.

FRESHMAN LIASON
SHANI CROWE



Shani Crowe is a freshman film major from Chicago, Illinois. She has been apart of Target H.O.P.E including the High School component since 2005 and currently serves as freshman liaison for Target H.O.P.E. Upon graduating she plans to pursue a career of editing and cinematography in motion pictures. She also inspires to start an art program for Chicago youth.
